2. Central and Eastern European ICT Cluster Conference
21 April 2009 - Debrecen, Hungary
After 2008 this is the second time we are organising our conference. The main aim of the conference is again to promote the
advantages of intercompany cooperation within the industry. We aim to make the conference as practical oriented
as possible, supplying the participants with real life examples of successful
and unsuccessful cluster and partner initiatives.
The conference is free of charge, but online

Each presentation will be broadcasted live on the internet. If you are unable to make it here personally but you are interested in the proceedings, just click on LIVE BROADCAST at the time of the conference - 21 April 2009 from 10.30 CET - and be a virtual participant.
Conference venue
The conference is being held in the Kölcsey Convention Center which, with its 13,000m2 area, is the
largest conference center in Eastern Hungary. The Center is located in the
heart of the city.
Travel information
By air:
Arriving to the Budapest Airport (Ferihegy)
there are three ways to get to the venue:
- Car rental
is available at the airport, see map for directions
to Debrecen
- There is a train station (Ferihegy v.á.) at Terminal 1 (from Terminal 2A and
2B you can use the bus no. 200 to the train station). Timetable and other
information is available online. From
Debrecen train station take the Tram 1 to Debrecen Plaza stop and walk 3
minutes on Hunyadi street (utca) to the Kölcsey Központ.
- There is a transfer bus
service from the airport to any Hungarian locations.
By train: Trains leave to Debrecen from both Budapest Nyugati and Budapest Keleti
train stations. Timetable and other information is available online. From
Debrecen train station take the Tram 1 to Debrecen Plaza stop and walk 3
minutes on Hunyadi street (utca) to the Kölcsey Központ.
